The project“Queer Characters in TV Series” aims to examine the forms, narratives, and cultural circulation of these figures through at least four research areas. The goal is to understand how issues of queerness are expressed not only as motifs that contribute to an iconology of queer bodies and sensibilities,but also as devices of performance or reappropriable representations, whose agency extends beyond their original fictional contexts.
