Calenda Listing 1,440,058 (excerpts)
Reputation, viewed through the lens of its disruptions, allows us to examine, over the long term, the norms and values at work in societies. Situated at the intersection of the private and public spheres, reputation reveals the multifaceted relationships between these two spheres, as expressed through individual and collective actions and manifested in social spaces. By focusing the analysis of reputation on its downsides and disruptions, it becomes possible to take a fresh look at the mechanisms and frameworks of reputation, their limitations and potential shifts, as well as the hierarchies of interpretation and power relations that underpin them.
