Organized by CRIR AVS PACA (Centre Ressource pour les Intervenants auprès des Auteurs de Violences Sexuelles Provence-Alpes-Côte d'Azur), this symposium will explore the complexities of sexual consent at the intersection of the human and social sciences, medical sciences, law and professional practices. The aim is to analyze consent as a dynamic process, marked by power relationships, vulnerabilities, social norms and psychological issues, particularly in the field of sexual violence and support for perpetrators, both adults and minors. The event aims to promote interdisciplinary dialogue on contemporary uses of the notion of consent, its evaluation and clinical, educational, social, institutional and judicial support.
The symposium will explore consent as a dynamic process, based on a cross-reading of human and social sciences, medical sciences and law, in relation to professional practices. It is aimed at professionals concerned by these issues (carers, psychologists, psychiatrists, social workers, educators, professionals in the judicial, penitentiary and medico-social fields, etc.), as well as academics, researchers and students engaged in reflection on sexual violence, sexuality and consent.
