The meteoric rise of social networks since the mid-2000s has raised issues of personal data protection, economic and labor transformation, and also upheaval in social life and public debate. How have legal norms adapted to the specificities of social networks? What measures have regulators put in place to combat anti-competitive practices and to regulate published content? To discuss these issues, the Conseil d'État is organizing the fourth and final conference in its series on social networks on June 8.
