The analysis of public action is situated at a disciplinary crossroads, the configuration of which varies over time and according to academic contexts. While political science generally occupies a central place, economics, law, public administration, but also social psychology or anthropology have their place. In France, just as political science is largely confused with political sociology, and after the development of public policy analysis from the mid-1980s onwards, a significant part of the work borrows all or part of its theoretical and methodological tools from the various currents of sociological analysis. It is this specificity that this meeting wishes to discuss. It will also be an opportunity to present the new collection dedicated to this field, recently launched by Editions du Croquant.
