How is the history of migration evolving with the support of digital sources and methods? This question is at the heart of the 2026 summer school at the German Historical Institute in Paris, organized in partnership with the C2DH at the University of Luxembourg. The program brings together contributions that address and utilize a wide variety of sources—from administrative archives and correspondence to databases. Methods such as text mining, network analysis, GIS, and digital oral history expand the possibilities of historical analysis while highlighting its conditions and limitations.
