France's population is ageing rapidly: today, a quarter of the population is over 60 years of age, and this figure will rise to almost a third by 2040. In a context where support and care for the elderly already appear inadequate and insufficient, this demographic evolution is the subject of many concerns. Mobilizing the expertise of European researchers, combined with that of French specialists in the field of disability and old age, the Priority Research Program (PPR) Autonomie invites you to two days of meetings to discuss some of the many challenges facing the sector, and to try to shape its future, with the question of how to ensure an independent and fulfilling life for all.
