The “Thinking About the Maritime” seminar aims to examine maritime spaces as historical, political, economic, and cultural phenomena. The goal is to analyze the societies, movements, conflicts, and forms of power that unfold at sea and along coastlines, while reflecting on methods and innovative approaches in the humanities and social sciences. This seminar thus aims to foster dialogue between different disciplinary approaches and to better understand the role of the maritime in the study of societies.
