The first half-day will be specifically dedicated to the issue of vinyl chloride monomer and will provide an opportunity to review the emergence of this topic and present the VCM Watch platform. The second day will provide a broader overview of water pollution in France and will be organized around four thematic areas: identifying, understanding, and addressing health risks associated with water pollution; pollution and local water uses; pollution management by local authorities; and protection of water resources. The deliberately multidisciplinary and open format aims to foster dialogue between experts and practitioners on the ground, and to inform the public debate on these issues.
