The Diplomatic Archives Directorate aims to bring diplomacy closer to the French public by developing initiatives that enable professionals in the archival and library fields to diversify their audiences and organize networking events through this project. To achieve this goal, the Directorate of Diplomatic Archives is launching, for the first time during the 2026–2027 academic year, a call for applications to host young researchers in the humanities and social sciences as residents.

Since the residency is based solely on the exchange of knowledge, it does not entitle participants to any stipend or compensation, as it is not an employment contract.
