This annual award is intended to recognize a Master’s 2 thesis on the history of populations, the history of the family, or the social history of health.
Awarded during the end-of-year Annual General Meeting of the Société de Démographie Historique, the award recognizes a French-language Master’s 2 thesis defended at a French or foreign university by a student whose work falls within the major themes of the SDH.
The thesis must have been defended during the 2025–2026 academic year and must have received a minimum grade of 16/20.
