Overview
This funding is open to students enrolled in a doctoral program at a French university in the humanities and social sciences (psychology, sociology, economics, law, anthropology, demography, philosophy, linguistics, political science, education, nursing, architecture, design…) or public health, whose research focuses on:
- societal issues arising from Alzheimer’s disease and/or other related diseases: law, ethics, the impact of the disease on family and friends…
- improving the quality of life for people with the disease and their family, volunteer, or professional caregivers.
Five doctoral students will be supported in 2026.
Please note!
- Doctoral students currently receiving funding (doctoral contract, CIFRE contract, etc.) or those who are employed are not eligible to apply.
- Biomedical research projects are not eligible.

Amount: Up to €40,000 per year, renewable twice.

Eligibility
Must be enrolled at a French university in the humanities and social sciences (psychology, sociology, economics, law, anthropology, demography, philosophy, linguistics, political science, education, nursing sciences, etc.) or in public health, whose work is conducted within a research laboratory and focuses on the societal challenges posed by Alzheimer’s disease and/or other related diseases and/or the improvement of the quality of life for patients and their family caregivers, volunteers, or professionals, and who do not have funding.
