Issue 30 of the journal Animation, territoires et pratiques socioculturelles will be devoted to this theme of academic freedom. The present call aims to encourage the participation of colleagues from different disciplines (literature, linguistics, communication, education, philosophy, psychology, political science, sociology, social work, etc.) and geopolitical regions, including Eastern Europe and Quebec. It is part of a common reflection on the value of information and its circulation in globalized societies, and on literacy as a means of better grasping the phenomena under study and orienting ourselves accordingly.
