    The aim of the training is to master national and European civil procedure, civil enforcement procedures, the functioning of civil justice in general and the law of evidence. In order to achieve this objective, the courses are taught not only by academics, but also by practising legal professionals: bailiffs, lawyers and magistrates. This professional aspect allows students to have a concrete vision of the legal profession they wish to practice.

    The training includes a research aspect based on the writing of a dissertation supported by the candidate; it also includes a professional aspect insofar as the candidate must complete a compulsory two-month internship in a legal structure, sanctioned by a diploma; 150 hours of lectures are given by judicial officers, lawyers and magistrates; the candidate must also do a compulsory two-month internship in a legal structure, sanctioned by an internship report.

    The standard course « Litigation and civil enforcement proceedings » is based on the research unit constitutedé;e by the Laboratoire de Droit Privé et de Sciences Criminelles (LDPSC EA 4690), as well as, for its administrative management, on the secretariat of the Institut d'Etudes Judiciaires d'Aix-en-Pce.

  • PROFESSIONAL SKILLS TO BE ACQUIRED

    The emphasis is on the mastery of civil procedural law in the broad sense of the term.

    The student will be able to provide legal advice in this field: national and European civil procedure, movable and immovable property enforcement, deacuteology of the legal professions, civil law of evidence. The student will be able to carry out the formalities necessary for legal procedures with competent services, to serve and enforce court decisions and notarial acts.

    The student will be able to use the skills of the profession and the knowledge of the law.

    The student will be able to ensure the collection of debts of individuals or of a company, through a company's litigation department or within a judicial officer's office.
