ADEME - APR - TEES (édition 2024)- phase 1 deadline 13 03 2024 at 12h00 (Paris time) - phase 2 deadline 05 07 2024 at 12h00 (Paris time)

1 Summary of the general framework

The RPA is aimed at public and private research organizations. It aims to mobilize French scientific communities, in particular those questioning organizations and their modes of change, and those working on issues linked to the implementation of the ecological transition.

The APR-TEES is dedicated to the human and social sciences (SHS) and is intended to cut across ADEME's various fields of action.

Projects are expected to mobilize SHS disciplines such as sociology, economics, political science, management, law, geography, psychology, anthropology and history. Interdisciplinarity is strongly encouraged, as is attention to methods.

The involvement of public (local authorities, agencies, etc.) and/or private (associations, companies, etc.) players is welcome in the research consortium, and participatory research and action research approaches may be proposed.

2 Thematic areas

The RPA is composed of 4 axes:

  • Axis 1 refers to the organization of transition policies and actions: their programming, the resources on which they are based, planning, decision-making and the steering of collectives, opening up the study of both the processes and the actors who contribute to their implementation.
  • Axis 2 focuses on the tools, instruments and knowledge mobilized to act, coordinate and evaluate the implementation of ET (Ecological Transition).
  • Axis 3 deals with the dynamics of mobilization, integrating issues of renewal of institutional, political, participatory and protest forms.
  • Axis 4 examines the generalization of transition objectives and their structural effects (socio-economic, institutional and political, etc.).

3 Eligibility criteria

Expected projects:

  • Will be carried out by public or private research organizations. The applicant - scientific coordinator of the research project - must be a researcher who publishes in scientific journals, is part of an academic community and is attached to an academic structure (UMR, ULR, EA, etc. - including associate researchers).
  • May cover one or more of the APR themes.
  • Will endeavor to develop a territorial anchoring (or anchoring(s)) (in France), where relevant.
  • Preferably be collaborative, with consortia that are not only multi-disciplinary, but also open, in addition to research teams, to players and stakeholders from the economic, associative or public spheres, where relevant.
  • Respond to one or more clearly identified public policy issues.
  • Last between 12 and 24 months.
