The third edition of the international multidisciplinary research symposium on gender-based violence (GBV) and resilience in Africa aims to examine, beyond mere declarations of commitment, the extent to which feminist diplomacy and the FPS (Women, Peace and Security) can serve as effective levers in Africa for preventing and responding to GBV, including conflict-related sexual violence, and which mechanisms for participation, funding, implementation and accountability enable the effects of these initiatives to be measured.
