In partnership with Éditions Le Cavalier Bleu, the Maison méditerranéenne des sciences de l'homme invites researchers from all disciplines in the humanities and social sciences to submit manuscripts for the MiMed "Migrations Méditerranée" collection.
Under the direction of Stéphane Mourlane, this collection offers a multi-disciplinary approach to migration dynamics, as well as to the rooting and uprooting that shape the Mediterranean and its interactions with other spaces, from a historical or contemporary perspective. Available in print and digital format, and open access after 12 months on Cairn, the collection welcomes all manuscript proposals that shed light on transnational forms of mobility and their political, social or cultural effects within the Mediterranean space and beyond. Given the crucial importance of migration in current societal debates, MiMed stands out for its ambition to present a scientific vision of migration issues, combining a rigorous social science approach with writing that is accessible to a wide audience.
