The CEQF “La francophonie en débat” Prize aims to support the creation and dissemination of French-language works—whether artistic or academic—by young artists or researchers residing in a member country of the International Organization of La Francophonie. The prize amount is 15,000 Swiss francs, of which 5,000 francs are earmarked for presenting the award in Quebec City at the time of the official ceremony.

The winning work must contribute to understanding and illustrating the relationships, exchanges, and interactions within the Francophonie on cultural, historical, economic, or social levels. This may take the form of original research in the humanities and social sciences (history, sociology, political science, linguistics, literature, etc.) or an original artistic creation (literary text, song, play, audiovisual production, graphic arts, etc.).

The Prize is open to young people residing in an OIF member country who are at least 18 years old and no more than 35 years old as of the deadline for submitting applications, which is November 15, 2026.
