As part of the Me3dAx project, we are recruiting a post-doctoral researcher to conduct in-depth research into the socio-technical dimensions of capturing and modeling professional gestures. The project aims to study the socio-technical process by which 3D simulations of professional gestures are produced. The candidate will conduct interviews with craftspeople, using alloconfrontation devices that put professionals in dialogue with digital representations of their gestures (avatars). The post-doc will also carry out a detailed analysis of the applications and challenges of capture technologies in the field of collaborative robotics.
