The 2027 Early-Career Researchers’ Symposium, titled “Digital Territories in (Re)configuration,” invites participants to reflect on the transformations of contemporary digital spaces. Viewed as territories shaped by power relations, social and technical boundaries, and practices of appropriation and resistance, these environments are giving rise to new forms of participation and mediation. The conference will feature interdisciplinary contributions focusing on digital platforms, algorithms, dynamics of visibility, online communities, practices of resistance, and the reconfiguration of digital spaces. This event aims to foster a better understanding of the processes that are continually reshaping digital territories.

Early-Career Researchers’ Conference

The conference will take place on Thursday, February 11, 2027, at Laval University (Louis-Jacques-Casault Building, 3rd floor). This conference will be held both in person and online.
