Calenda Announcement 1,436,451 (excerpts)

This study day explores the challenges of claiming urban space following a traumatic event (war, disaster, terrorist attack, environmental crisis). It examines the processes of dispossession, reappropriation, reconstruction, and remembrance, as well as their spatial, social, political, and symbolic dimensions. It offers an interdisciplinary reflection on the ways in which residents, communities, and institutions reshape their relationship to places marked by disaster.
