1 Presentation of the project (summary)
The aim of this thesis project in economic sociology will be to contribute to the study of technical regulation practices and the design of electricity exchanges, focusing more specifically on the rules that encourage the flexibility of electricity consumption and the development of distributed storage. Among other things, the thesis will examine the role of economic expertise in market regulation, how political expectations (security of supply, consumer protection, energy justice, etc.) are taken into account, and the deliberation process. It will also aim to enter into dialogue with legal science, in particular by examining the place of legal work in the institutionalization of this regulation and the own requirements it may introduce.
