For its fourth issue of 2027, focusing on the financialization of healthcare, the RFAS is issuing a call for multidisciplinary submissions. Financialization plays a major role in the dynamics shaping the healthcare sector in France and around the world, particularly the concentration of its stakeholders, debt financing, and its commodification. It has been the subject of a growing body of research in the economic and social sciences. This issue aims to examine the phenomenon of the “financialization of healthcare,” which is taking place within a wide variety of healthcare organizations, affecting them to varying degrees and in various forms.
