1 Summary of the scheme
The annual prize of €8,000 is intended to reward a published or unpublished French-language literary or legal work on the defense of fundamental freedoms.
Candidates, regardless of nationality, must have published at least one work in the three years preceding the application deadline, and must hold a doctorate (PhD or equivalent) from any faculty.
Works submitted for the competition may be of any kind: doctoral thesis, scientific article, press article, report, testimonial, book, essay, fiction, etc. The age limit is 40 on the closing date for entries.
