AIMS
The Master provides in-depth knowledge of international, European and European Union law, as well as domestic and comparative law, in a variety of fundamental areas of public and private intervention: economic activities (competition, trade), environmental protection, public institutions (States, international organizations), international and European litigation, humanitarian action, human rights.
The course provides solid knowledge of the issues and legal regimes involved, as well as the methodological skills needed to meet the expectations of the various professional sectors involved in international and European law.

Internship, research report or moot court competition
KNOWLEDGE TO BE ACQUIRED
Using a variety of innovative teaching techniques, students learn to :
- comply with and ensure compliance with regulations, interpret legal texts, provide legal advice to avoid or resolve disputes, monitor regulations, draft deeds, agreements and contracts, etc.
- Respond to requests for legal advice and expertise from public or private organizations, participate in the development of tools to help achieve regulatory compliance, participate in the preparation of project development files.
- Understand the cross-disciplinary nature of problems, place European and international issues in their legal, economic, social, national and local context; develop cross-disciplinary expertise: legal, economic, financial; research, analyze and synthesize information.
Throughout their training, students acquire in-depth research skills and actively prepare for their professional integration.

PROFESSIONAL SKILLS TO BE ACQUIRED
The first-year program (M1) is structured around 3 blocks of knowledge and skills, plus 2 pre-professionalization and language teaching units:
- Mobilizing and producing highly specialized knowledge
- Analyze, assist and advise on international and European law issues
- Monitor legal developments in a European and international environment
- Interact in a foreign language (language classes and courses taught in English)
- Enhance pre-professional skills (C2I, internship, dissertation, mock trials, European competition, international negotiations)
INTERNSHIPS AND SUPERVISED PROJECTS
In Master 1, as part of the second semester, students can choose to complete a professional internship (3 weeks), write a dissertation or take part in a mock trial competition.
In Master 2, although not all courses require students to do an internship, they strongly encourage them to do so. Internships are subject to a report and oral presentation.

M1 students of the mention benefit from the possibility to pursue a semester in many European universities thanks to the Erasmus+ programme.

Depending on the type of course, the students of the mention can benefit from a mobility at the Peking University Shenzhen Graduate School (China) or at the University Glasgow University (United Kingdom), a double degree with the University of Ottawa (Canada) or a specific course (Noha Erasmus Mundus). They may be required to carry out their research at the University of the Western Cape (South Africa) or at the University of Laval (Canada).
