The transition of first aid training from totally face-to-face to hybrid training is an important change in the pedagogical approach and requires a strong evolution in the trainers' practice (new pedagogical techniques, evolution of the trainer's posture...) and an empowerment of the participants. This is why the French Red Cross Foundation has decided to join forces with the Training Department of the Voluntary Activities and Commitment Directorate of the French Red Cross to support a research project aimed at studying the effects of hybrid training courses in the field of first aid on the memory retention and action of the trainees, to better understand the advantages and disadvantages of this approach, and thus to better support the trainers in their understanding of this approach and in their reflections on the place of digital technology in first aid training.
