1 General framework of the scheme (summary)

Research themes

The proposed scientific events must be related to the end of life and fall under one of the following themes

  • The shift to the home and home-based approaches to the end of life of people with disabilities and elderly people with a loss of autonomy;
  • Autonomy of will : analysis of the expressions of the will to die of people with disabilities and/or elderly people with loss of autonomy and the associated reactions of family caregivers and professionals;
  • End of life of children with disabilities;
  • Experiences of bereavement of people with disabilities and elderly people with loss of autonomy, their caregivers and the professionals who accompany them.

Perimeter

This may involve scientific events presenting research work on the end of life (symposiums, seminars or study days) or workshops aimed at initiating such work. This research must concern the field of autonomy (old age and/or disability) and fall within the scope of the SHS and/or public health.
