AIMS
The aim of the Electronic Communications Law pathway (DCE) is to provide lawyers with specialist knowledge in the fields of electronic media law. To provide lawyers with a thorough understanding of the various branches of law applicable to digital communication activities: status of communication companies, professionals, digital content and services, regulation of communication sectors, the fight against cybercrime, etc.; To enlighten the lawyer on the constant changes in the law;legal and technological developments in the sector, and to enable them to understand the economic and political issues affecting all players, resources and services in the electronic communications sector: radio and television companies, online communications, digital platforms, film companies, etc.

LEARNING AND RESEARCH
The course presents pedagogical specificities as students are invited to produce a research activity on electronic communications law taking three different forms:
• The publication of news notes on the training website
• The publication of case law notes on the training website
• Participation in an annual round table attended by industry professionals
Concerning legal research, in addition to an introduction to legal research, students are invited to write a research report to supplement their placement report.
PROFESSIONAL SKILLS TO BE ACQUIRED
The typical « Droit des communications électroniques » course aims to teach specialised legal skills in electronic communications law:
• Legal advice
• Analysis and resolution of legal problems
• Oral and written presentation of topical issues
• Analysis and drafting of contracts
• Legal intelligence in innovative areas
INTERNSHIPS AND SUPERVISED PROJECTS
A compulsory internship, lasting a minimum of two months, is included in the course.
An annual round table on a topical issue in electronic communications law is organised by the Master's students and lecturers, and is published in electronic form.
A legal clinic is organised for non-law students from a partner course at the University of Aix-Marseille. The course includes preparation for a competitive examination in digital law.
SPECIFIC TEACHING CONDITIONS
The Electronic Communications Law pathway is based on a combination of theoretical teaching, methodology and personal or group practical work. In addition, a substantial part of the teaching is based on inverted teaching methods, the use of digital tools and an introduction to the main digital technologies.
