How does one become an activist? Is there such a thing as "activist knowledge", and if so, what are its characteristics? How does knowledge acquired "on the job" over the course of activist experience, and by definition not easily identifiable, challenge pre-existing knowledge, shake up worldviews, and even radically alter (future) activists' relationship to knowledge? These questions will be addressed through research into activist experience and activist training.

It focuses on the idea of writing history and its tools - use of sources, writing, chronologization - to study the reception of the historian's gesture in stories of the imaginary. Using a comparative and diachronic approach, she aims to understand how Tolkien, Asimov and their successors structure fictional time as historiographers and passers-by.
