The Centre d'histoire du XIXe siècle (Université Paris 1 - Sorbonne Université), in partnership with the Société d'histoire de la révolution de 1848 et des révolutions du XIXe siècle, wishing to pay tribute to the memory of Professor Dominique Kalifa (1957-2020) and to promote the history of the 19th century in its broadest sense, has created an annual prize to reward a doctoral thesis on the history of the 19th century (1800-1939). The prize is intended to help with the publication of the thesis.
