This call for papers for the journal Études Digitales examines the structural tensions and asymmetries that characterize the diffusion of open science between the global North and the South, using the analytical prism of the knowledge commons. It aims to go beyond a normative and standardizing vision of open science to explore alternative models of socio-technical architectures adapted to the economic, institutional and epistemological realities of Southern countries.
