The Cercle des chercheurs en sciences du patrimoine is launching a call for scientific contributions for an international collective work devoted to the transformations of Sahelian heritage in the face of security, climatic, economic and identity-related crises. The book aims to analyze the dynamics of destruction, adaptation and revaluation of heritage through an interdisciplinary approach combining history, anthropology, geography, sociology, archaeology and political science. Proposals may focus on tangible and intangible heritage, governance issues, memory dynamics, forms of resilience and heritage revaluation processes in Sahelian and African spaces.
