The colloquium aims to address Latin American themes and issues from a variety of disciplines, including history, literature and linguistics. It aims to establish itself as a biennial forum for discussion, fostering transdisciplinary analysis of a theme in Latin American history and reality. In this sense, transdisciplinarity is conceived not simply as the presentation of the same theme from different angles, but as an integration of disciplines that generates new knowledge and transcends the limits of each field.
