To pay tribute to the founder of Socio-Anthropologie and to promote this interdisciplinary approach, the Socio-Anthropologie en perspective association and the journal have created an annual prize to reward a doctoral thesis that integrates and contributes to this approach in the social sciences.
For the 2024 competition, candidates must have defended, during the 2023 calendar year, a doctoral thesis written in French that follows in the footsteps of Pierre Bouvier's socio-anthropological work and theories.
The prize is €1,500. This sum, intended to help with the publication of the thesis, will be paid to the author (with the possibility of publication in the "Socio-Anthropologie" collection published by L'Harmattan and/or publication of an article in the journal Socio-Anthropologie). All publications must mention the Prize.
