Each year, the Institut des Amériques (IdA) awards a prize, in the form of a publication grant, to a thesis in the humanities and social sciences dealing with the Americas. Theses must have been defended in one of IdA's member universities during the calendar year preceding the award. If theses dealing jointly with North America and Latin America are of particular interest, all good theses on the Americas may be submitted.
The thesis must have been defended in one of IdA 's member institutions during the 2024 calendar year.
The thesis must be written in French.
It must not have already been published by another publisher.
