The Faculty of Arts and Social Sciences is seeking to fill a regular tenure-track position at the rank of Assistant in the History of Contemporary Acadia. This position is attached to the Department of History and Geography, which offers undergraduate and graduate programs.

Flexibility and versatility in teaching are required, and the successful candidate will have a strong aptitude and interest in teaching a variety of courses at both the undergraduate and graduate levels. In addition to teaching courses in the history of Acadia, the successful candidate will be responsible for teaching courses in Canadian history since 1867, and for supervising students in both cycles. Research interests in relations between Aboriginal and Acadian populations would be an asset. The successful candidate will participate in the Department's and Faculty's activities and services to the community.
