Calenda Listing 1,438,013 (excerpts)
The concept of “polycrises” is often invoked to define the 21st century. It describes the intertwining of multiple systemic crises: ecological crises resulting from the overshoot of planetary boundaries; energy crises stemming from resource constraints; and social, economic, and political crises marked by growing distrust of institutions. In this context, low-tech is emerging as a major alternative to the dominant models of innovation promoted as the engine of capitalism.
