1 General framework of the scheme (summary)
As part of its mission to promote work on the history of social security and, more broadly, of social protection in Europe, the
social protection from the Ancien Régime to the present day, the Comité d'histoire de la sécurité
awards prizes each year to theses and dissertations at the master's level.
The jury is composed of members of the Scientific Council of the Comité d'histoire de la sécurité sociale.
Conditions of application (article 2 of the prize regulations)
These works must :
- relate to the history of social protection in the broad sense (including unemployment and social action), including its international
including its international dimension,
- be completed within the last three years,
- be written in French or English.
As the prizes awarded to theses are intended to help with their publication, the jury will not consider theses
already published or in the process of being published.
