If the ecological stakes are more than ever pressing, their political problematization still struggles to emerge. Discourses and aesthetics have given rise to a depoliticized ecological imaginary. This interdisciplinary study day for young researchers and creators will examine how the arts mobilize their methods and means to show the intertwining of human life and ecosystem health and how they contribute to a problematization of environmental justice. Attention will also be paid to the contexts of production, dissemination and reception, as well as to literary and artistic criticism, and how they can influence the political dimension of the works.
