The way we live in the 21st century, as well as the latest health events, have disrupted the traditional organization of the city's public space. The social and cultural dimensions have been particularly affected. The flow and circulation of populations, the organization of individual and common spaces must be rethought in order to find harmony for everyone. Faced with new ecological, technical, sanitary, social and economic evolutions, we will question what the city of today is made of and how to build the city of tomorrow?

Crossing Borders - AMU - Distance Learning Seminars (January 10, 2022 - May 17, 2022)

This seminar builds on the work brought to light by the two previous Frontiers seminars (2017-2019) in order to extend them and to deepen the questions raised during the multidisciplinary study day "Writing the border" which took place in November 2020. The collective continues its reflection on the border space that the Mediterranean represents, a space that reveals the polysemy that the concept deploys.

The aim of this international conference of historians is to present the state of research on the multiple forms of bonded labour (slavery, forced labour, forced labour) between the 16th and 21st centuries in the world (Americas, Africa, Asia, Europe). This event will also serve to define the lines of research for the years to come, according to the different historiographical approaches and the available and missing data. Finally, it aims to attract young researchers to these fields and to enlighten the general public.

The objective of this symposium is to bring together research and public arenas in the definition and negotiation of the meaning of territorial policies for early childhood.

Promulgated on August 24, 2021, the law reinforcing the respect of the principles of the Republic includes a large number of disparate measures concerning several areas in which it seemed necessary to legislate to curb processes described as separatists that undermine republican universalism. The aim of this study day is to shed light on the debates surrounding this law by analysing its provisions and effects in areas as diverse as freedom of association, civil law, the right to education and the rights of foreigners.
