1 General framework of the scheme (summary)

The prize is open to all theses that deal with the urban phenomenon in its historicity, whatever the period, the space and the academic discipline (history, law, urban planning, architecture, art history...) concerned.

The prize is open to doctors who have defended a thesis in urban history, written in French, during the year (calendar) 2022.

Theses of habilitation to direct research and theses of the École nationale des chartes are not accepted.

All theses dealing with the urban phenomenon in its historical context are eligible, regardless of the period, space and academic discipline (history, law, urban planning, architecture, art history, etc.) concerned.
