The Maison méditerranéenne des sciences de l'homme has created a thesis prize to be awarded each year to a doctor who has defended a promising work on Mediterranean and African studies in humanities and social sciences. This call is open to theses written in any language and defended in France or abroad. The 2022 prize is open to theses defended between January 1 and December 31, 2021.
The prize of 3,000 euros will be used to publish the thesis in one of the collections of the MMSH and its associated laboratories or its partners: Réseau national des Maisons des sciences de l'homme, Réseau des Écoles françaises à l'étranger, IFRE and UMIFRE. The prize winner must submit the final manuscript of his or her work to the publisher within 18 months of the announcement of the results. The sum of 3,000 euros will then be paid directly to the publisher.
