Since the 2020s, Moroccan agricultural workers have been the focus of growing media attention (demands, worsening living conditions), and institutional players are stepping up programs to manage temporary labor mobility between Morocco and Europe. This emergence of agricultural workers, who have long been invisible in public debate and political agendas, is correlated with a growing interest in the question of agricultural work in the social sciences and humanities. With this in mind, the aim of this study day is to examine the major dynamics of agricultural work from the point of view of Moroccan workers, both locally and in the diaspora, as well as in political and social imaginations.
