We would like to issue a call for contributions for an issue of the journal Football(s). As a major sporting and cultural activity, soccer shapes media practices, people's daily lives, ordinary social situations and many personal, professional and symbolic relationships. What about "women's" soccer? Three thematic axes have been chosen: "Invisible genealogies"; "Politics and the marked mediatization of the body and performance"; "The economy of recognition: a hindrance or a lever of visibility?
