In order to complete its team, the Institute of Sport Sciences of the University of Lausanne (ISSUL) is seeking a graduate assistant in the field of sociology of sport. Half of the working time will be devoted to personal research work for the completion of a doctoral thesis in the field of sociology of sport and gender (in connection with the World Observatory for Women and Sport). This conference will examine the instrumentalization of justice, either by prosecutors or by defendants, and the role of political trials in France since 1815 among opponents. The politicisation of trials is not a one-way street and does not always benefit those who conduct them: the aim is to observe how the accused and their political circles turn the situation to their advantage, sometimes several years later.
