This issue of Tracés takes as its starting point the growing number of audiovisual devices used at the most contemporary sporting events, as well as the increasing use of still and moving images by professional and amateur athletes alike, in the course of their training and practice. It looks at the ways in which we see and make seen in the practice and consumption of modern sports.

Call for book chapters
This collective work aims to examine, deepen and test Sen's thinking from the perspective of women's experiences, trajectories and capacities for action, in different social, economic and cultural contexts. The aim is to propose an interdisciplinary reflection that will enable us to better understand how women construct, exercise and transform their capabilities and their freedom as agents, as well as the structural, economic, social, institutional or cultural obstacles that can limit these processes.

As part of their partnership, the Maison Européenne des Sciences Humaines et Sociales (MESHS), with the support of the Région Hauts-de-France, the Maison des Sciences Humaines de l'Université Libre de Bruxelles, the Maison des Sciences de l'Homme de l'Université de Liège and the Maison Française d'Oxford are organizing an annual seminar aimed at stimulating interdisciplinary reflection, offering a comparative perspective between border countries, highlighting local projects and building new collaborations.

This third and final colloquium of the " War Losses & Naval Warfare " program aims to study the human, material and societal consequences of naval losses in combat, from the 18th to the 21st century. It aims to explore the specificities of the aftermath of naval combat, characterized by the brutality of confrontations, the scale of human and material losses, and the particularity of death at sea.

The aim of this collective work is to shift the analytical gaze towards a sequence of the electoral process that has as yet received little thought or theorization, by introducing the notion of "pre-electoral dynamics". By this notion we mean all the institutional, actorial, discursive and symbolic processes that unfold between the definitive closure of an electoral cycle (resolution of disputes and implementation of results) and the convocation of the electorate for the next election.
