This meeting is at the crossroads of history and comparative literature, and focuses on the reception of historical methods in works of the imagination. It focuses on the idea of writing history and its tools - use of sources, writing, chronologization - to study the reception of the historian's gesture in stories of the imaginary. Using a comparative and diachronic approach, she aims to understand how Tolkien, Asimov and their successors structure fictional time as historiographers and passers-by.
