Target audience
** IMPORTANT: OUR DISTANCE LEARNING COURSES ARE NOT AVAILABLE TO FOREIGN STUDENTS FROM OUTSIDE THE EU**.
Various learner profiles may be interested in our distance learning courses, which offer alternative, more flexible ways of delivering courses than face-to-face teaching:
- Students in initial training: students in double courses, students with disabilities, students on long-term stays abroad, etc. Distance learning offers adaptations that enable students to continue their studies when their personal situation presents difficulties of various kinds that are difficult to reconcile with face-to-face teaching.
- Continuing professional education: people returning to school, retraining or upgrading, employees, jobseekers, etc. The ability to follow a distance learning course at their own pace and from home is a major advantage for these profiles: https://facdedroit.univ-amu.fr/en/formation/formation-continue

Access conditions
The conditions of access to distance learning do not differ from those required for face-to-face teaching.

Academic calendar Licence EAD 2025-2026 Academic calendar Masters 1 EAD 2025-2026Important: students enrolled in continuing professional education programs (as distinct from initial training students) should consult the dedicated pages at https://facdedroit.univ-amu.fr/formation/formation-continue?updatedPID=2453#section-2454.
ORGANIZATION OF COURSES FOR EAD STUDENTS :
Courses are delivered entirely by distance learning via AMeTICE, AMU's digital Moodle platform. They are available in text format, and can be consulted and downloaded at any time. They are largely taught by teacher-researchers from our Facultý, and for a complementary part by courses from the Université́ Numérique Juridique Francophone (UNJF).
Tutorial assignments (TD) in Licence and Master 1 are worked on by the learner from documents deposited on AMeTICE and must be handed in via the platform according to a schedule communicated at the start of the academic year. A grade is given for each assignment, a general correction is communicated, and the TD supervisors send each student a personalized correction and methodological recommendations to help them progress and provide pedagogical support.
Visio Zoom meetings are organized from time to time by the course instructors to enable direct interaction and facilitate communication on any pedagogical difficulties encountered.
Exchange forums enable learners to communicate with their teachers, the latter providing answers to questions that are visible to all.
Only the exams are held face-to-face in Aix-en-Provence, for one week at the end of each semester.
There are no compulsory internships for EAD students (Master's students will have to choose between writing an internship report or a research dissertation), and it is possible to draw up an internship agreement if the student wishes to carry out an optional (voluntary) internship, which will not be graded but will add value to the student's university course.
