This conference will examine the instrumentalization of justice, either by prosecutors or by defendants, and the role of political trials in France since 1815 among opponents. The politicisation of trials is not a one-way street and does not always benefit those who conduct them: the aim is to observe how the accused and their political circles turn the situation to their advantage, sometimes several years later.

I'm in Erasmus at the University of Brno (Czech Republic) for one year. The city is very nice with beautiful buildings and many parks and museums. It's also easy to visit other cities around like Vienna, Prague or Bratislava. I have a total of 7 lessons of 1h40 per week.
