Expected contributions on the issue of urban sprawl in the Mediterranean basin and in relation to the environment will focus on case studies with the aim of deciphering urbanization processes in terms of ways of living. They involve examining the mechanisms of design-realization-anthropization of space, including changes in planning principles and social practices. The "co-evolution" of interdependencies between the management and planning of needs, environmental quality and the quality of life, integrates several themes of reflection that relate to different issues and logics of planning (urban planning instruments, actors, constraints, standards, regulation...).

Djiboul, Revue Scientifique des Arts-Communication, Lettres, Sciences Humaines et Sociales, is launching a call for varia contributions for the publication of its 7th issue, due out in July 2024.

Djiboul publishes original contributions (in French and English) in the fields of Letters, Humanities and Social Sciences (Language Sciences, Art, Communication, History, Philosophy, Sociology, Anthropology...). In accordance with the cames code of ethics and deontology, all contributions are the sole responsibility of the author and not of DJIBOUL magazine.

What remains of Max Weber's ideal-types of legitimacy? This (overly) schematic question is a poor summary of the colloquium's purpose, yet it is its foundation. Legitimacy is the foundation of political regimes, and Weber's analysis of it has become a classic. Today, however, we need to re-examine these categories. Are they still relevant today? Have new types of legitimacy emerged? In new fields (such as climate change and the media)? At a time when it seems that the foundations of our states are being shaken by multiple factors, questioning the concept of legitimacy is of the utmost relevance.

This one-day workshop will first review the definition(s) of "world war", then look back at past wars described as "world", and finally look at imaginary world wars, either prospective (scenarios of a third world war during the Cold War, current scenarios...) or purely literary (the Picrocholines wars, those envisaged by Captain Danrit - Lieutenant-Colonel Driant - or more broadly in science fiction.

Since the 1970s, issues relating to violence against women have become increasingly politicized. By gender violence we mean all violence committed by men, as men, against women, as women. Feminist researchers have taken the issue of sexual violence out of the private, intimate and interpersonal sphere, and transformed what were then considered miscellaneous facts into public problems worthy of collective action to combat them. The term "gender-based violence", in which the plural is important, also makes it possible to consider the plurality of forms taken by such violence: verbal, physical, sexual, psychological or even economic. The aim of this colloquium is to examine the modalities of public action in the field of gender-based violence.

This thematic issue of the journal Éthique publique is devoted to the theme of ethics alerts, also known as signalling, denunciation or whistleblowing. Ethical whistleblowing involves revealing illegal or illegitimate practices such as corruption, fraud or harm to public health, to entities capable of intervening to put a stop to such practices. Now recognized as an essential tool in the fight against reprehensible behavior, ethical whistleblowing is gaining in visibility through high-profile ethical scandals that highlight the essential role played by a whistleblower. This issue aims to enrich our understanding of ethical whistleblowing by exploring its own motives, its regulatory framework, the legal protections to which whistleblowers are entitled in the face of frequent reprisals, the organizational factors influencing the effectiveness of whistleblowing, and its impacts, both positive and negative, on whistleblowers, their entourage and the entities targeted by their revelations.

The Laboratoire d'études et de recherche en littératures française et francophone (LABERLIF) is organizing this colloquium to promote exchanges between professionals in the field, with the aim of enlightening national and international opinion on the shared privilege of literature and law. Indeed, the interdisciplinary relationship between the two disciplines is no longer up for discussion in the academic world. The "Law and Literature" movement initiated in the USA in the 1970s demonstrates the mutual enrichment of these two disciplines. The former is recognized for its originality in producing fiction, style and imagination. The second is noted for the establishment of rules, standards and laws. The "Literature and Law" dialogue fosters the intersection of two hermeneutic modes that Ronald Dworkin has made famous in his research activities.

The annual colloquium of the Association des doctorants et docteurs du center de droit des affaires de l'Université Toulouse Capitole will focus this year on the crucial theme of inflation, exploring its impact at both national and international levels. Over and above its traditional economic and legal context, the aim is to highlight the importance of this theme as a cross-cutting subject, touching on various fields of research, from the hard sciences to the humanities. The main objective is to foster innovative interdisciplinary exchanges by bringing together speakers from diverse backgrounds, ranging from historians and biologists to lawyers and doctors.
